Plan Your Future: Individual Graduation Portfolio (IGP) 

What is IGP?

Your Individual Graduation Portfolio (IGP) provides you with a road map to the future and a record of the past. If you stay on course, you will reach your destination – graduation – with all the courses, skills, and experiences you need to take your education or career to the next level.

How do you get access to your portfolio?

Step 1:  Go to www.dcps.bridges.com

Step 2:  Enter your Portfolio name and password

• Portfolio Name: DCPS######## (DCPS followed by your ID#, such as DCPS12345678)
• Password: DCPS (Change your password after you log in the first time).

This portfolio is an important part of your academic life. As such, your school counselors and administrators can and will be looking at your work to help guide your progress.

Keep your information private! Do not share your password with your peers. If you need to change your password, you can do so online. If you forget your password, you can request it online or from your school counselor.

Free Online PSAT and SAT Preparation

All DCPS high school students have access to free online PSAT and SAT preparatory programs through their Individual Graduation Portfolio.

What is in testGear?

• Test preparation for the PSAT and SAT exams
• Over sixty hours of online instruction
• A diagnostic test combines self-assessment and objective assessment questions
• Customized lessons for each student
• Customized curriculum with an array of self-assessment and test formats, self-paced tutorials, and effective test-taking strategies
• Anytime, anywhere access to curriculum and reporting over the Internet

How does my child get started with testGear?

1. Log in to www.dcps.bridges.com and click on the testGear box.
2. Take the BrainScan diagnostic to assess your strengths and weaknesses.
3. Complete the Smart Curriculum in your customized study plan, based on your diagnostic results.
4. Build your skills and knowledge of strategies by compling MicroCourses, Practorials and the Vocab Lab.
5. Take practice tests to gauge your skills with test items that mirror the formats on the real test.
6. Once you’re ready, get a feeling for the real thing by taking the two full-length practice tests that mimic the final exam.
