Meet Eric.

Eric is a former Alliance beneficiary who was going to the Unity Pharmacy at Congress Heights to pick up his medication when he learned about the District’s Medicaid expansion. He was surprised by the changes being made to his benefits and shared his thoughts:

“This is a blessing because we now have access to our medicine 24-hours a day from different locations. We have options…it is a good feeling to know you’re accepted elsewhere….(This) is a great start. It affects us directly…the stuff we hear on TV…it involves us. We are a part of it.”
